Match forfeits should be avoided whenever possible.
If a forfeit is the only reasonable option to complete the league match, a forfeited match score is awarded to both teams.
Since league prize payout is based on the completion of all matches, all players are financially responsible for all league fees including matches that are forfeited and all ranking points and credit for games played will be awarded to both teams.
For simplicity, these fees are deducted from team earnings at the end of season payouts. It works out the same as if you had played the match. You still:
- pay for the match
- get credited for the wins
- earn the ranking points for the match
This match score is determined by the respective overall win percentage.
For example, if a team's end of season win% is 53.3% that means on average they typically win 8-7.
In circumstances where the teams have a significantly unusual win percentage, high or low, further evaluation may be required and the game wins awarded may be adjusted accordingly.

Failure to meet the financial obligations will result in a loss of league and tournament privileges for the team up to and including a permanent ban.
